The Emerging, Holistic Worldview Awakening and Transformation of Consciousness Reconnecting to Nature Health and Healing Socially Engaged Spirituality

Who am I?Swedish author Hjamar Söderberg wrote: “the human condition is the lust of the flesh and the irreparable loneliness of the soul.” This statement should be recognizable as reflecting the mechanistic worldview of separation, including the suppression of women, the separation of sex from love, and the separation of person from person. In the emerging worldview, we all have the divine light inside us. It is our birthright. It is nature. This is what spiritual systems of many orientations tell us. We are not separate. The purpose of life on a practical level is to express love in all its manifestations. Love is the expression of unity in a diverse world. The transformation to a higher consciousness is the path to becoming co-creative with evolution. Liberation and unity with the whole are further steps. Buddhists might call it reaching total emptiness, nirvana. It has often been said that there are many paths and many spiritual practices, and it is so true. None is intrinsically better than any another. All lead eventually to the same place. It is an individual choice as to which path best suits you as an individual seeker. We will mention a few examples here out of many, but the serious student should investigate further before making a choice. An important part of this Sustainability Education (GEDS) is to motivate the student to start a daily spiritual practice. |
